At Zimkor, we prioritize the safety of our employees and work towards creating a secure work environment. Our MOD Rating currently stands at 0.67, which is the lowest possible rating for our company. To ensure our continued success, we conduct daily safety checks and monthly safety meetings.
An effective safety program is a major commitment and nothing is as important.
AISC's Safety Awards honor fabricators and erectors whose efforts to keep their employees safe demonstrate their commitment. Only companies that truly put safety first will receive an AISC Safety Award.
All active fabricator members and erector associate members are eligible, and Awards are based on data reported to OSHA on form 300A.
The program recognizes performance measured in terms of Days Away, Restricted or Transferred Rate (DART). The DART is a measure of the number of recordable lost work cases per 200,000 man hours worked.
AISC Safety Awards are given for perfect records, (DART=0), excellent records (0<DART≤1), and commendable records (1<DART≤2). Awards are issued separately for fabricator organizations and erector organizations.
